About Brandon

Howdy partner! I’m Brandon, a chill Canasian in his mid 30’s with a mild drinking problem who likes to have fun.

I grew up in Calgary, AB, Canada playing hockey, soccer, chess, and video games; was never going to make er to the NHL. I blame only hitting 5’9” in my growth spurt, but realistically it was my stone hands and complete lack of scoring ability. So I kept the hockey lingo, and chased down the whole video game dream instead.

Currently on a hiatus from the video game industry, after ten years of working as a gameplay programmer for a couple of big AAA shops (Ubisoft, Behaviour Interactive), and while I’m out in Albania / Europe “finding myself”, I figured it would be cool to chronicle some of my crazy adventures, random thoughts, and bad decisions. Seems cheaper than paying for therapy.

I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
